Security Forces Eliminate Two Terrorists in Balochistan Operation

Kuwait City: At least two "terrorists" were killed by security forces in an operation in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province, said the Pakistani military on Friday.

According to Kuwait News Agency, a press release issued by Pakistan military's media wing Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that "security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in general area Kolpur, Kachhi District of Balochistan, on reported presence of terrorists belonging to Indian proxy." During the operation, security forces effectively engaged the terrorists' location, leading to an intense exchange of fire in which two "Indian sponsored terrorists" were killed, as reported by ISPR.

Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the deceased terrorists, who were actively involved in numerous "Indian sponsored terrorist activities" in the region. A sanitization operation is underway to eliminate any other terrorist threats in the area. Pakistan's security forces are committed to eradicating "Indian sponsored terrorism" from the country and bringing the perpetrators of terrorism to justice, the release concluded.

Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif, commended the security forces for their successful operation against the terrorists. In a statement, the Prime Minister emphasized that the terrorists would face severe consequences for endangering the lives and property of unarmed and innocent citizens.

He reiterated that the security forces and the government of Pakistan are resolute in their efforts to completely eradicate terrorism from the country. Earlier in the week, seven "terrorists belonging to Indian proxy" were eliminated in two separate operations in Balochistan. These operations are part of a broader response to a recent surge in terror attacks, particularly in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces bordering Afghanistan.
