This declaration emphasized the commitment to eradicating poverty, providing proper job opportunities for all, and achieving social integration as key elements for sustainable development. According to Kuwait News Agency, Annalena Baerbock, President of the UN General Assembly's 80th session, delivered a closing speech highlighting the summit as a new beginning for advancing social development globally. She underscored the importance of achieving numerous goals related to improving education, healthcare services, communications, and other vital aspects that serve communities. Baerbock explained that the summit represented a turning point by moving from diagnosing problems to implementing practical measures to solve them. This progress was made possible through multilateral efforts involving governmental and UN organizations, civil society organizations, and the private sector. She emphasized the need to exploit the significant momentum generated at the Doha Summit after considering the views of heads of state, government leaders, and all parties involved in social development. In her remarks, Baerbock also lauded Qatar's excellent organization of the summit, which took place 30 years after the first summit in Copenhagen.
