Makkah: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held talks on Saturday with the visiting Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi on efforts to address regional issues, the official Saudi Press Agency said. SPA reported that Prince Faisal received the Iranian minister at the ministry's offices in Makkah.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the discussions between the two foreign ministers focused on exploring bilateral relations and methods to enhance ties in various sectors. The meeting signifies a step towards fostering cooperation and understanding between Saudi Arabia and Iran amid ongoing regional challenges.
Additionally, Iran had previously reported that Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi would visit Saudi Arabia and Qatar, where he would participate in the Arab-Iranian Dialogue Conference. This visit highlights the importance both nations place on dialogue and collaboration in addressing regional matters.
