Kuwait city: Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud visited Sabah Al-Ahmad Coast Guard Base, where he was received by Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Interior Ministry stated that the Saudi Minister listened to a briefing by Director General of the Kuwait Coast Guard Major General Sheikh Mubarak Ali Yousef Al-Sabah. The briefing covered the Coast Guard's mission and responsibilities, including maritime protection operations.
During the visit, Prince Abdulaziz viewed a presentation on Coast Guard vessels and daily tasks, inspecting security facilities such as operations rooms, unmanned boat controls, and the mobile command center, which utilizes advanced monitoring technologies.
The statement highlighted that the visit underscores the mutual interest of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia in strengthening maritime security cooperation, enhancing border protection, and exchanging expertise in modern technologies. This initiative aims to boost coordination and integration between the two countries.
