Saudi Foreign Minister Calls for Immediate End to Israeli Aggression on Gaza

Jeddah: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud urged the international community to end the Israeli occupation forces' aggression on Gaza and firmly oppose the displacement of the Palestinian people from their land. This urgent call was made during his address at the 21st Extraordinary Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Member States of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Prince Faisal emphasized the historical right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state and highlighted the necessity of taking measures to break the siege on Gaza. He called for the immediate facilitation of relief and humanitarian aid, urging Israeli forces to open all crossings and allow aid to enter without obstacles.

He also called for international efforts to support the Palestinian people by empowering their national institutions and supporting the Palestinian national authority's reform initiatives.

Prince Faisal stressed the need for the international community to pressure Israel into releasing illegally withheld Palestinian tax revenues. He noted the growing number of countries recognizing Palestine, emphasizing that Israeli violations are widely rejected by the international community. He urged hesitant countries to acknowledge the occupation's violations and expansionist policies.
