Riyadh: Saudi Arabia's Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al-Saud discussed with the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi the latest developments in the Saudi National Atomic Energy Project (SNAEP).
According to Kuwait News Agency, the talks took place during Grossi's visit to Riyadh, where he was received by Prince Abdulaziz in his capacity as General Manager of SNAEP. The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the meeting focused on organizational plans for the upcoming International Conference on Nuclear and Radiological Emergencies, which Saudi Arabia is set to host in Riyadh.
The two officials also discussed topics of mutual interest and explored ways to strengthen cooperation across various areas, the statement continued. This meeting reflects the ongoing partnership between Saudi Arabia and the IAEA in developing nuclear infrastructure and advancing energy sustainability under Vision 2030.
