Riyadh: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman reaffirmed his rejection of the use of force to settle conflicts, emphasizing the importance of dialogue to resolve disputes. Prince Mohammad, who also serves as Prime Minister, conveyed these sentiments during a phone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeghkian, as reported by the official SPA news agency.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Prince Mohammad extended his condolences for the victims of the Israeli occupation aggression and wished a speedy recovery for those injured. He strongly condemned the aggression, stating that it violated Iran's sovereignty and security and contravened international law. The Crown Prince expressed concern that such actions were hindering ongoing dialogue and efforts to de-escalate tensions and achieve diplomatic solutions.
President Pezeghkian expressed his gratitude to Prince Mohammad and conveyed appreciation for King Salman bin Abdulaziz's directives to ensure the care of Iranian pilgrims until their safe return home.
