Kuwait City: Saudi Arabia welcomed the announcement of the formation of the new Syrian government, expressing hope that this government will achieve the aspirations of the Syrian people. According to Kuwait News Agency, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the Kingdom's aspiration to cooperate and work with the new Syrian government to further embody the fraternal and historical relations between the two countries and strengthen ties in all fields. The Ministry expressed its wishes for the new Syrian government to succeed and achieve security, stability, and prosperity. Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa recently announced a transitional government, appointing 23 ministers.
