Saudi Arabia Welcomes Joint Statement Calling for Ending War on Gaza

Kuwait city: Saudi Arabia on Monday welcomed the joint statement issued by 26 international partners calling for an immediate end to the war on the Gaza Strip, the lifting of all restrictions on humanitarian aid, and the acceleration of its safe delivery to the population in the Strip.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, stressed the Kingdom's rejection of any attempts to alter the demographic composition of the occupied Palestinian territories or expand illegal settlements.

The statement reiterated Saudi Arabia's firm rejection of the practices of the Israeli occupation forces, particularly the prevention of aid delivery and the targeting of civilians attempting to secure essential needs such as food, medicine, and water.

It added that Saudi Arabia called on the international community to take urgent and practical steps to confront Israeli occupation intransigence, which aims to prolong the crisis and undermine regional and international peace efforts.
