Saudi Arabia Highlights Quality of Life Transformation at Davos Keynote Session

Davos: The Quality of Life Program Center held a keynote session as part of the 'NextOn' series at the Saudi House pavilion in Davos, Switzerland, on Monday. Saudi House, organized by the Ministry of Economy and Planning, runs from January 19 to 23, alongside the 2026 annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF).

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Quality of Life Program's Sectoral Strategy Development Director Sultan Almulhem joined NextOn talks, providing an in-depth overview of quality of life in the Kingdom and the progress achieved since the launch of Saudi Vision 2030.

Almulhem highlighted the role of Vision 2030 and the Quality of Life Program in establishing a comprehensive concept of quality of life that enhances the economic impact across sectors and maximizes social impact by promoting healthy lifestyles in society.

Quality-of-life sectors have contributed over US$20.5 billion to Saudi Arabia's gross domestic product (GDP), attracted more than $5.8 billion in non-governmental investments, and boosted non-oil revenues by over $5.6 billion.

The session is part of the Quality of Life Program Center's efforts to advance international dialogue on quality of life and strengthen the Kingdom's leadership in various quality-of-life domains. The center showcases Saudi Arabia's pioneering experience in building an integrated ecosystem that amplifies the impact of Vision 2030 initiatives and their positive outcomes for all residents.
