Riyadh: The preparatory ministerial meeting of the joint Arab-Islamic summit commenced on Sunday, involving foreign ministers from member states of the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Chaired by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the meeting is set to address the agenda for Monday's extraordinary summit and the draft final communique. According to Kuwait News Agency, the agenda seeks to establish a unified position on pressing developments in the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian territories, and Lebanon. The meeting is part of the preparations for the summit, which will be held under the auspices of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and supervised by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad Bin Salman.
