Red Sea Fund Opens Applications to Support Film Projects in Post-Production

Riyadh: The Red Sea Fund, affiliated with the Red Sea Film Foundation, announced the opening of applications to support film projects in post-production, starting Tuesday and running until January 27, as part of its first round for the current year.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this round is part of efforts to support and empower emerging cinematic voices from the Kingdom, the Arab world, Africa, and Asia through direct financial grants that help complete film projects and bring them to completion, enhancing the presence of creative narratives on the global cinematic stage.

The first round for 2026 focuses on supporting projects that have completed filming through grants dedicated to post-production, including feature films, documentaries, and animated films, based on approved artistic and production criteria.

Since its launch in 2021, the fund has continued to support the film industry, having financed over 330 films, some of which have received awards and recognition at prestigious international film festivals and events worldwide.

The fund invited filmmakers interested in applying to review the application details on its website.
