Rajji Follows Up on Pilgrims’ Bus Accident Near Jordanian Border, Orders Check for Lebanese Nationals

Amman: Foreign Affairs Minister Yousef Rajji followed up this evening on the major traffic accident near the Jordanian border involving a bus with pilgrims on board returning from performing Umrah in Saudi Arabia, after it collided with a truck.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, upon receiving news of the collision, Rajji immediately contacted Lebanon's Ambassador to Jordan, Brigitte Tawq. He commissioned her to check if there were any Lebanese citizens on board the bus, and if confirmed, to take all necessary measures to provide them with any needed support or assistance.
