An informed source at Basra International Airport announced that the take-off of a number of planes was delayed due to a malfunction of the airport’s radar.
The source stated that: “The planes were scheduled to head to Damascus, Amman and India, as well as a special flight for Iraqi pilgrims to perform the Hajj, but they were delayed due to a malfunction of the airport’s radar since 6: PM until now.”
He added, “There are two flights that changed their destinations. The first came from Syria and landed at Al-Najaf Airport, and the second from Turkey landed at Baghdad International Airport due to the radar malfunction.”
