Doha: Qatar’s Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has declared that the Gaza Strip is an inseparable part of the Palestinian territories, reiterating Qatar’s condemnation of Israeli actions in Palestine. This statement was made during the opening of the first regular session of the second legislative term of the Shura Council’s 54th annual session.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Sheikh Tamim highlighted Qatar’s foreign priorities and plans while reviewing the nation’s regional and international stances. He mentioned that Qatar’s sovereignty had been violated by both Iran and Israeli occupation, emphasizing that these actions were broadly condemned. Despite these challenges, Qatar has emerged resilient.
The Amir accused Israel of contravening international norms by targeting a mediating state and attempting to assassinate members of a negotiating delegation, labeling it as “state terrorism.” He noted that Qatar’s mediation and humanitarian efforts have enhanced its global stature, underscoring the nation’s commitment to the Qatar National Vision 2030.
