Qatari Ambassador Praises Kuwaiti Sacrifices During Iraqi Invasion

Kuwait city: Qatari Ambassador to Kuwait Ali Al Mahmoud commended the sacrifices made by Kuwaitis during the Iraqi invasion, highlighting their efforts to restore the nation's freedom and sovereignty.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the ambassador's remarks were made on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Iraqi invasion. He paid tribute to the late leaders and martyrs of Kuwait and expressed prayers for the protection of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and the State of Kuwait.

The ambassador also acknowledged the supportive role of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states in liberating Kuwait. He specifically mentioned Qatar's active participation through its armed forces and praised the unity within the GCC.

Furthermore, Ambassador Al Mahmoud reaffirmed Qatar's commitment to enhancing bilateral relations with Kuwait across multiple sectors.
