Doha: Qatari Minister of State at the Foreign Ministry Mohammad Al-Khulaifi and Sudan’s Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Acting Foreign Minister Omar Siddiq engaged in a discussion on Monday to explore the strengthening of bilateral ties. The dialogue took place through a telephone call where both officials examined cooperative relations and strategies to bolster them, alongside exchanging views on the situation in Sudan and recent regional developments, as mentioned in a release by the Qatari Foreign Minister.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Qatari minister reaffirmed Qatar’s unwavering support for Sudan’s unity, sovereignty, and stability. Al-Khulaifi expressed Qatar’s commitment to assist the Sudanese people in their pursuit of peace, development, and prosperity. This conversation signifies a continued effort between the two nations to enhance diplomatic relations and mutual support amidst changing regional dynamics.
