Doha: The Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani engaged in discussions with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Tuesday concerning regional and international developments, with a focus on the consequences of the Israeli occupation's attack on Doha. This meeting took place during the US Secretary of State's visit to Qatar, as stated by the Qatari Royal Court.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the discussions included a review of the strategic relations between Qatar and the United States, emphasizing the enhancement of cooperation, particularly in the defense sectors. The talks also highlighted joint diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, as well as addressing the release of hostages and detainees, and reducing regional tensions.
