Doha: Qatar’s Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan engaged in discussions on the latest developments in the Gaza Strip, focusing on the ceasefire agreement and the flow of humanitarian aid into the enclave.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Qatari Amiri Diwan announced that the two leaders presided over the 11th meeting of the High Strategic Committee between Qatar and Turkiye. The meeting aimed at exploring ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two nations.
The discussions also covered regional developments, with a particular emphasis on the situation in the Gaza Strip and efforts to support the ceasefire, peace, and the entry of humanitarian aid. Additionally, a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding were signed between Qatar and Turkiye.
