Qassim Truffle Festival Showcases Local Culture and Tourism Potential

Qassim: The Truffle Festival in the Sheri Center concluded yesterday, drawing 73,165 visitors over 11 days. Organized by the Shari Municipality, part of the Qassim Region Municipality, the event featured cultural programs that showcased folk heritage and highlighted the center's tourism potential.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the festival saw participation from various government agencies, non-profit organizations, and volunteers. Craftsmen, families involved in the cottage industry, and food trucks offered diverse options for visitors, enriching the festival experience.

The Qassim Region Municipality emphasized that the festival aims to revitalize winter tourism, support local products, empower participants, and strengthen community partnerships. The focus remains on improving the quality of life in the region through these initiatives.
