In a post on his Truth Social platform on Monday, he said he was working hard with House Speaker Mike Johnson "to get the current funding deal, which passed in the Senate last week, through the House and to my desk, where I will sign it into Law, IMMEDIATELY!" According to Kuwait News Agency, President Trump emphasized the need to reopen the government swiftly and called on all Republicans and Democrats to support the bill. He urged for the bill to be sent to his desk "WITHOUT DELAY," stressing the necessity for no changes at this time. Trump expressed a willingness to work collaboratively in good faith to address issues, but highlighted the importance of avoiding another prolonged shutdown, which he stated would be detrimental to the country and offer no benefit to either political party.
