Washington: The White House announced that President Donald J. Trump is "extremely frustrated with both sides" involved in the Ukraine war. The President has expressed his eagerness to move beyond discussions and take decisive steps toward ending the conflict.
According to Kuwait News Agency, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt conveyed Trump's dissatisfaction with the current pace of negotiations. She emphasized that the President is tired of meetings that do not lead to tangible outcomes. "He doesn't want any more talk. He wants action. He wants this war to come to an end," Leavitt stated during a press briefing on Thursday.
Leavitt further explained that the Trump administration has dedicated over 30 hours in recent weeks to discussions with Russian, Ukrainian, and European representatives. She indicated that additional meetings are scheduled for the weekend, leaving open the possibility of further developments. "So we'll see about the meetings this weekend, and stay tuned," she added.
