London, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Political Affairs Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs met with Stephen Hickey, United Kingdom’s Middle East and North Africa Director, and Thomas Allan, Joint Head of Iraq and Arabian Peninsula Department at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
The meeting reviewed means to further enhance the historic strategic Bahraini-UK partnership following the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister last June to the UK.
They discussed regional and international topics, affirming mutual keenness to achieve just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East.
Hickey praised the Bahraini-UK partnership and expressed his gratitude to Bahrain’s efforts and contribution to promoting security and peaceful coexistence in the Middle East region.
