The Minister of Planning, Muhammad Tamim, confirmed during his visit to Babylon that the ministry is striving to solve the obstacles of lagging projects, which were stopped for several reasons, indicating that Babylon needs a campaign to change its service reality.
Tamim said during a press conference held with the Governor of Babylon, Wissam Aslan Al-Jubouri, “It was also stressed the necessity of resolving the approval of projects in the 2023 budget, the mechanisms of listing and immediate solutions, especially for old projects and their problems that they suffer from, and that need an immediate decision, whether from the Ministry of Planning or the Economic Council.”
He added that the Ministry of Planning is the first ministry concerned with the system of projects and the organization of exchange and its mechanisms.
For his part, the Governor of Babylon, Wissam Aslan Al-Jubouri, said that the issue of lagging projects was discussed, since the province needs a great urban renaissance while moving away from the problems of administrative routine and official correspondence that often impede business and urban plans./ End
