Palestinians buried 12 people who were killed during a two-day Israeli military operation that started last Monday.
Palestinians roamed the streets while carrying the victims’ bodies on Wednesday, calling for continuing the resistance against the Israeli occupation, before heading to the cemetery for burial.
According to Palestine’s health ministry, the attack on the camp of Jenin also injured over 120 people, among them are 20 in critical conditions.
Last night, the Israeli forces withdrew from Jenin city and the adjacent shantytown after clashes with armed Palestinians.
Meanwhile, the Defense for Children International society in Ramallah noted that four children were killed in the attack, adding that this raises the number of children killed since the beginning of 2023 to 28 in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem
