Palestinian Prisoner Dies in Israeli Custody, Marking Fourth Fatality in Four Days

Gaza: A Palestinian prisoner held by the Israeli occupation died at Soroka Hospital on February 21, days after being transferred from Al-Naqab prison, the Palestinian Civil Affairs Public Authority announced on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as 62-year-old Ali Al-Batsh.

According to Kuwait News Agency, this incident marks the fourth reported death among imprisoned Palestinians over the span of four days. The total number of Palestinian prisoners who have died since the onset of the war on Gaza has reached 62. Of these, up to 40 prisoners who lost their lives in custody were originally from Gaza.
