Gaza strip: The Palestinian Presidency strongly condemned on Monday the ongoing shedding of Palestinian blood in the Gaza Strip, most recently the killing of 14 Palestinian citizens over the past 24 hours.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Presidency stated in a press release that the Israeli occupation is persisting in violating Palestinian lives and resources. This follows specific decisions made by occupation authorities concerning occupied Palestinian land in the West Bank, which are perceived as attempts at partial annexation.
The Presidency emphasized that these actions constitute a breach of international law and a termination of signed agreements. It highlighted that Israeli policies, such as land confiscation and restrictions on Palestinian freedom and movement, will not establish any legitimacy nor deprive the Palestinian people of their rights to their homeland.
Furthermore, the Presidency called upon the international community, including the European Union, Russia, and China, and specifically the United States, to halt what it described as a war of genocide against the Palestinian people. It urged these entities to pressure the occupation authorities into stopping actions that exacerbate the cycle of violence and conflict in the region, which undermine American, Arab, and international efforts towards a ceasefire as established under US President Donald Trump's plan and UN Security Council Resolution 2803.
