Ramallah: The Palestinian Presidency has accused the Israeli occupation of implementing a policy of genocide and starvation with the ultimate goal of evicting Palestinians from Gaza and other Palestinian territories to pave the way for settlement expansion. On Sunday, the presidential spokesperson, Nabil Abu Rdainah, issued a press statement denouncing the ongoing practices that he claims defy international calls for peace and violate international laws.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Abu Rdainah highlighted recent aggressions by Israeli forces, including an attack on the village of Al-Mughair, resulting in the demolition and sabotage of properties. He also noted that settlers have carried out attacks on Palestinians in other regions like Jenin and Tulkarm, exacerbating the already volatile situation.
Abu Rdainah further criticized the US Administration, holding it accountable for perpetuating what he described as an annihilating policy by Israel. He questioned Washington's silence, deeming it unjustified and irresponsible, and warned that such a stance could lead to regional chaos.
In a call to the international community, Abu Rdainah emphasized the urgency of taking action to pressure Israel into abandoning its aggressive policies. He urged for immediate intervention to prevent further escalation and potential disaster in the region.
