According to Nam News Network, the Israeli military stated it conducted the strike in the area, claiming the deceased was a Hezbollah member identified as Ibrahim Muhammad Raslan, a maintenance officer. The military alleged that Raslan had been working to reestablish Hezbollah military infrastructure sites, which it claimed posed a threat to Israel and its civilians, violating understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
