Tyre: One person was killed in an Israeli occupation strike on southern Lebanon, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday. The strike targeted a motorcycle in Batoulay municipality in Tyre District, resulting in the death of a Lebanese national.
According to Kuwait News Agency, occupation forces continue to target municipalities and vehicles in southern Lebanon despite the November 2024 ceasefire. This ongoing conflict has heightened tensions in the region, raising concerns about the durability of the ceasefire agreement.
In a complaint to the UN Security Council, the Lebanese Foreign Ministry reported that the number of violations committed by the Israeli occupation reached 2,036 in the months of October, November, and December 2025. The situation remains volatile as diplomatic efforts to address these violations continue.
