Muscat: Oman's Sultan Haitham bin Tariq will begin a three-day state visit to Spain on Tuesday, according to a statement from the Royal Court.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the visit aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation across various fields and discuss key regional and international issues. Oman and Spain share over five decades of strong relations, marked by mutual respect and collaboration, especially in political and economic areas. Past high-level visits, including King Felipe VI's visit to offer condolences on the passing of Sultan Qaboos, reflect the close ties.
