Vienna: Kuwaiti Oil Minister Tariq Al-Roumi reaffirmed on Tuesday his country's strong commitment to supporting the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), emphasizing its active participation in international events aimed at promoting stability in global oil markets.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Roumi, speaking at the Ninth OPEC International Seminar in Vienna, highlighted Kuwait's consistent involvement in the seminar since its inception in 2021. He underscored the seminar's significance in addressing global energy challenges and bolstering cooperation among oil-producing nations.
Upon his arrival in Vienna, Al-Roumi was welcomed by the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Austria and OPEC Secretary General Haitham Al-Ghais.
The two-day seminar, commencing on Wednesday, will operate under the theme "Charting Pathways Together: The Future of Global Energy". It will include participation from oil ministers of member states and international experts in the oil and energy sectors.
