Kuwait city: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) voiced its rejection and denunciation of provocative statements by Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu on the so-called a "greater Israel". According to Kuwait News Agency, the organization saw these remarks as continued extremist and inciting rhetoric, which undermines countries' sovereignty and is a blatant violation of international law principles, and the UN Charter and its relevant resolutions. These hostile remarks are made by Israeli occupation not to pledge its international commitments and to continue its violation of the legitimate rights of Palestinian people, topped with the self-determination and the establishment of their independent state on 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, it stated. The OIC cautioned against the danger of this expansionist rhetoric, which threatens regional and international peace and security, and fuels violence as well as expands conflict, it noted. The organization called on th e international community, mainly the UN Security Council, to bear its responsibilities, confront hostile policies, and take decisive measures to halt Israeli occupation, It also called for implementing the two-state solution, ending the occupation of Arab and Palestinian territories since 1967, as a base for a permanent, inclusive and fair peace in the region.
