Jeddah: Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission Executive Director Dr. Hadi Al-Yami met today at the commission's headquarters in Jeddah with Sultanate of Oman Consul General and Deputy Permanent Representative to the OIC in Jeddah Salem Albusaidi. During the meeting, the two officials discussed aspects of cooperation between Oman and the commission as well as ways to enhance coordination on human-rights issues of mutual interest.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions focused on strengthening the partnership between Oman and the OIC Human Rights Commission. Both parties emphasized the importance of joint efforts in addressing human-rights challenges and exploring opportunities for collaborative initiatives. The meeting also highlighted the commitment of Oman and the commission to work together on common goals related to human rights within the OIC member states.
