NWC Completes Water Projects for Six Governorates in Jazan at SAR89 Million

Jazan: The National Water Company (NWC) has successfully implemented and operated a comprehensive water transmission and pumping system to serve the mountainous governorates in the Jazan Region. This significant project includes the construction of transmission lines, reservoirs, and distribution stations, with a total investment exceeding SAR89 million. The initiative is aimed at providing sustainable and high-quality water services, aligning with the objectives of the water sector under Saudi Vision 2030.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the project involved the construction of transmission lines spanning over 41 kilometers, the establishment of two operational reservoirs with a capacity of 2,000 cubic meters each, and the development of six tanker filling stations capable of distributing approximately 20,000 cubic meters of water per day. These infrastructure developments are set to benefit over 89,000 residents across the mountainous governorates of Al-Rith, Al-Aidabi, Al-Ardhah, Harub, Al-Dayer, and Fifa.

The National Water Company reiterated its commitment to executing projects in adherence to approved timelines while applying the highest standards of quality and performance. The company emphasized that these efforts are part of its strategic goal to provide sustainable water services, thereby improving the quality of life in accordance with the objectives of the Quality of Life Program.
