NUSACC Appoints Kuwaiti National Fawaz Almudhaf as Director of External Affairs

Washington: The National US-Arab Chamber of Commerce (NUSACC) has promoted Fawaz Almudhaf, a Kuwaiti national, to lead its external affairs department.

According to Kuwait News Agency, NUSACC stated that Almudhaf's promotion reflects its commitment to developing regional talent that advances cooperation across borders, as well as cultivating young leadership that is responsive to the evolving dynamics of US-Arab engagement. The Chamber highlighted that Almudhaf's promotion comes at a time when global business and diplomacy are being reshaped by shifting alliances, new trade priorities, and rising demand for cross-border cooperation.

In his new role, Almudhaf will work to advance NUSACC's external affairs strategy by strengthening the Chamber's engagement with policymakers, global corporations, and major institutions across the United States and the Arab World. Almudhaf expressed his gratitude for the promotion, viewing it as both an honor and a responsibility. He emphasized NUSACC's role as a trusted forum for dialogue and mutual respect that strengthens cross-border ties, pledging to further US-Arab partnerships during a period of crucial international connectivity.

David Hamod, President and CEO of NUSACC, congratulated Almudhaf, praising him as an important member of the NUSACC team. Hamod noted Almudhaf's impact on the global stage as a representative of young Kuwaiti talent and highlighted his instrumental contributions to the Chamber's success.

For over 50 years, NUSACC has been acknowledged as America's leading commercial gateway to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The Chamber is the longest-serving organization dedicated to US-Arab business and is recognized as the voice of American business in the 22 Arab nations. With more than 50,000 members and stakeholders, NUSACC is an independent, membership-driven entity, officially recognized by the League of Arab States and the Union of Arab Chambers.

Last year, NUSACC received the E Star Award for Export Excellence, an honor conferred by the President of the United States. NUSACC is the only Chamber of its kind to have received this award twice in its 60-year history.
