Number of Palestinians martyred by Israeli assault climbs to 232

The number of Palestinians martyred by Saturday's Israeli attack on Gaza Strip has risen to 232, with 1,697 others injured, according to health authority in Gaza.

In a statement, Asharf Al-Qudra, spokesman of the Palestinian health authority in Gaza, said the martyrs included three of the medical teams.

He added that medical teams across the besieged Gaza Strip are working tirelessly to save dozens of critical and severe cases in operating rooms and intensive care units.

Israeli warplanes, shortly after Palestinian Hamas fighters burst into a number of Israeli outposts around the enclave killing a number of Israelis and capturing others, carried out a chain of strikes on Gaza Strip.
