Medina: President of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais yesterday launched a program aimed at reinforcing the etiquette of the call to prayer (Adhan), enhancing the performance of muezzins, improving the quality of the Adhan, and empowering qualified talents in accordance with specialized scientific and professional standards.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the program aligns with the strategic direction of the Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Prophet's Mosque to develop the religious framework and to give special attention to the Adhan and muezzins, as the Adhan is a significant religious ritual and a key manifestation of care for mosques. The emphasis is placed on precision, performance discipline, and adherence to a moderate and balanced approach.
The program includes comprehensive training and qualification tracks covering religious, vocal, and practical aspects, as well as developing skills in institutional performance and professional discipline. This endeavor aims to elevate the quality of religious services provided to worshippers.
