Nato: NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte stated he had a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to discuss the developments in Ukraine's energy sector amidst Russian attacks that have caused "terrible human suffering." The dialogue also focused on ongoing efforts to bring the war to an end. Rutte emphasized in a post on X that the Alliance remains committed to ensuring Ukraine receives the essential support needed to defend itself currently.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the NATO Secretary-General highlighted that the ultimate goal of this support is to enable Ukraine to secure a lasting and safe peace.
