Najran: The parks and gardens of Najran Region have become a favorite destination for visitors and families during the school break, thanks to their attractive tourist and recreational features that cater to all age groups.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the region features three main parks, 65 gardens, 20 walkways, and five public squares. All attract a significant number of visitors, particularly in the late afternoon and early evening when the weather is mild. Visitors enjoy natural beauty and pleasant moments amid green spaces, family seating areas, pedestrian paths, bicycle lanes, children's play areas, and public facilities, making these locations ideal recreational destinations.
Najran Region Municipality has completed preparations to receive visitors during the holiday, as part of its efforts to provide a safe and integrated recreational environment. Over the past few days, the municipality has rehabilitated green spaces covering an estimated 810,000 square meters, pruned 6,200 trees, and planted 110 new trees and shrubs. Maintenance work was also carried out on playgrounds covering 110 square meters, 190 decorative lighting poles, 36 restrooms, and 10 fountains. Additionally, general cleaning operations have been intensified to ensure visitor comfort and enhance the parks' appeal as prime recreational destinations.
