Baghdad: The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemned on Thursday the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by an Israeli minister and hundreds of settlers under the protection of Israeli occupation forces. In a statement, the MWL's Secretary General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa said the act violates the sanctity of Islamic holy sites and provokes the emotions of Muslims worldwide.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Dr. Al-Issa underscored the urgent need for the international community to take responsibility and confront serious violations committed by the Israeli occupation government across the occupied Palestinian territories.
