Kuwait city: The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemned Sunday the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Jewish settlers and officials as part of ongoing occupation violations against Islamic holy sites, as well as provocations against Muslims worldwide. In a statement, Secretary-General of the League Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa denounced the heinous crime as a blatant violation of the sanctity of Islamic holy places.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Issa also warned of the serious consequences of the Israeli occupation's continued criminal actions and escalating violations. The condemnation underscores the League's stance on the protection of Islamic holy sites and the need for international intervention to prevent further provocations and violations.
Earlier in the day, Israeli occupation's far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, along with a large group of Jewish settlers, stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque. This act has been viewed as part of a series of actions that exacerbate tensions in the region and undermine efforts toward peace and stability.
