Muscat: The 29th Muscat International Book Fair is set to commence tomorrow, Thursday, with participation from 674 publishing houses representing 35 countries, notably including Kuwait. The book fair will offer a range of cultural and literary events and will continue until May 3.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the fair will host 211 cultural events and a variety of programs, spanning entertainment competitions, scientific initiatives, theatrical performances, and cultural workshops. Among these events is the "Challenge Time with Reading" initiative, which aims to engage attendees in literary pursuits.
In terms of media coverage, over 74 media professionals from 50 media organizations worldwide have been invited to cover the event. Additionally, several social media activists are expected to attend, enhancing the fair's reach and engagement.
