Damascus, First Lady Mrs. Asma al-Assad received Syrian excellent students of the secondary certificate and their families.
The First Lady said: ‘Syrian society, after thirteen years of war, is still producing and creating excellent persons .’.
Mrs. Asma continued: ‘This meeting, for me personally and for the Presidency of the Republic, is an essential title, which is excellence and distinction , and the relationship between them, every year we wait for the excellent students so that we can renew communication with distinguished families in society, distinguished because they have defied very difficult circumstances.’.
The First Lady added: ‘Every one of you today, and every day, is an ambassador for excellence, Hope is in you, your success is the country’s success, and your excellence is Syria’s one, we are waiting for you again because your distinction is implanted in you, and you cannot do without them no matter the circumstances.’.
The excellent students, in turn, stressed that distinction and excelle
nce are a responsibility that requires effort in order to ensure their continuity, indicating that ambition should not stop at a specific place, but rather one should always strive for the best.
They pointed out that they defied the circumstances of the terrorist war on Syria and the earthquake, and achieved their dream of excellence, which was a response to these difficult challenges, noting that the First Lady’s support for those who excelled in all degrees was an important incentive for them to continue the path of excellence.
