Moscow Criticizes Poland Over Revocation of Russian Experts’ Visas

Moscow: Russia's Foreign Ministry denounced on Monday Poland's decision to cancel the visas of Russian experts invited to attend the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) event, describing it as an "egregious act of arbitrariness". The ministry said in a statement that the move violates the core principles of international cooperation and proves Poland's incompetence as a host country for international forums and conferences, saying that such actions damage its reputation and hinder multilateral organizations promoting dialogue and security in Europe.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the ministry added that this decision reflects a politically motivated and unconstructive approach that contradicts Poland's OSCE obligations and raises doubts about its neutrality and readiness to provide an environment conducive to objective discussions. Moscow called on the international community and OSCE member states to consider relocating the organization's democratic institutions and events to other countries that treat all participants equally and uphold balanced cooperation and inclusive dialogue.

Earlier, the Russian Public Institute of Electoral Law (ROIIP) said that Poland had annulled the visas of its experts on October 5, just before the start of the conference, without providing any explanation for the decision.
