More than 90 suffocation cases recorded in Diyala due to the dust storm

Diyala hospitals received more than 90 cases of suffocation due to the dust storm.

Director of Diyala Health Media, Fares Al-Azzawi, told the reporter of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): “The emergency wards in Diyala government hospitals received more than 90 cases of suffocation among the elderly due to the dust storm that swept all over the province.”

He added: “No deaths were recorded, and all emergency corridors were instructed to remain on alert until the wave of dust storms ends.”
