MoH Prioritizing Support to National Medical Cadres

Kuwait city: Minister of Health and chairman of the board of trustees of Kuwait Institute for Medical Specializations Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi affirmed on Thursday that supporting qualified national medical professionals is a key priority of the Ministry's strategy. Al-Awadhi made the statement during the awareness day for recent medical graduates and final-year medical students, under his patronage and in the presence of some officials.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Awadhi lauded the institute's role in rehabilitating and preparing future doctors. The ministry is focused on creating an educational and training environment to support excellence and innovation, while keeping pace with global developments, as stated in a statement citing the minister.

He noted that investing in young medical talent directly impacts the services offered to society and enhances Kuwait's position on both regional and international levels. The awareness day included a detailed visual presentation on the main training mechanisms. Additionally, it featured a review of Kuwait's board programs and scholarships, aimed at educating new doctors about their future educational paths.
