Cairo: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance is participating in the 57th Cairo International Book Fair as part of the Kingdom's pavilion. The fair opened today at the Egypt International Exhibition Center and features 1,457 publishing houses from 83 countries.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry is showcasing a selection of publications from the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex, highlighting the stages of Quran production and distributing 50,000 copies of the Holy Quran in various sizes, editions, and recitations as a gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to visitors. The donation reflects the Kingdom's commitment to serving the Holy Quran and Muslims worldwide.
The pavilion features the Islamic e-library and the ministry's digital transformation initiatives, including the Rushd app, the correct citation app, and the multilingual Virtual Hajj app. In addition, visitors can experience virtual reality tours of the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah through advanced interactive technology.
Such participation underscores the ministry's ongoing role in promoting the tolerant message of Islam and strengthening the Kingdom's cultural and outreach presence internationally, in line with Vision 2030.
