Ministry of Islamic Affairs Issues Ramadan Preparation Guidelines for Mosques

Riyadh: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance has issued a set of instructions and guidelines for mosque preparation during the month of Ramadan 1447 AH. The instructions stress compliance with the regulations and guidelines governing mosque staff throughout the Kingdom, ensuring the effective service of worshippers and supporting the ministry's mission and overall objectives as the holy month approaches.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry highlighted the arrangement of Iftar meals in designated courtyard areas and stressed the responsible management of water donations to serve mosque requirements, discouraging the accumulation of large quantities in storage facilities.

The circular instructed the relevant departments to enhance the efforts of mosque caretakers and maintenance teams, ensuring that mosques are clean and fully prepared, with particular attention to women's prayer areas.

The ministry remains dedicated to serving mosques and ensuring that worshippers receive the highest level of organization and care during the holy month of Ramadan.
