Ministry of Foreign Affairs Welcomes Syrian Ceasefire Agreement

Kuwait city: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has welcomed the Syrian government's announcement of a ceasefire agreement, effectively halting the conflict in the Al-Sweida governorate. The Ministry emphasized the importance of calming the situation and urged the implementation of necessary measures to prevent further bloodshed.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Arab League has strongly condemned the reported plans by Israeli authorities to confine Palestinians in a small camp located in southern Gaza. The League's condemnation highlights ongoing concerns regarding the humanitarian and political situation in the region.

In Brussels, European Union foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas called for the Israeli occupation to take "more concrete steps" to enhance the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. The call for action underscores the international community's focus on addressing the pressing needs of the region's population.

Meanwhile, in Jeddah, the Muslim World League expressed unwavering solidarity with Syria, its government, and its citizens. The League's statement reaffirmed support against any actions that threaten Syria's security, stability, and sovereignty.
